What do You Believe is the Best Rate for Population Control?

Countries like China are well known internationally for their population and how in years past they imposed laws limiting the number of children that any one household could have.

The reasoning behind that limit was so there would not be too many people crowding the land and using up all the resources from families who had larger sized families and may or may not have had the means to support them with the food, shelter and clothing they needed as well as other needs for survival.

Many people had a global outcry in response to those laws after hearing the heartbreak of families who could no longer have the size of family they wanted, while others thought the limit was perfectly fair and made good sense to curb the problems of overcrowding and population.

1.Do you think it's a good idea to limit the number of children a couple could have?

Perhaps you should have tried posting this thread under "Society & Culture".

Other then that I think that unless population becomes or is predicted to be a problem in the near future then it should be looked at, but then we come to a wall called "freedom".

While this wall is just walked right over in China, in other countries we have to really think about a way to curb the problem. One way could be to make it a law like China to only have one child. Another would be to just give a blind eye to the number of children people have and deal with a population problem later.

I would recommend that if a population crisis is predicted then we can either find a way to plan for a larger population in the future by simply building bigger building and expanding our cities and townships, and also making more jobs. Along side of those arrangements we can also try to lower the predicted population by giving incentives for people in our country to have less kids such as tax deductions.
