Sustainable Development - Do you think of future generation?

With the fast growing and changing world, all the natural resources are exploited to great extent. As a result , the generations to come are in danger of having lack of resources for their sustainability. The way the petrol is being used up enormously these days it will not be available after few hundred years. We need to checkout the problems our future generations will face and should strive for sustainable development without over-exploitation. What are your opinions for future generations?
