Default Saving the environment - Are you a Eco-Friendly person?

What is the definition of "Eco-friendly" and the meaning to you?

For me, eco-friendly means going the right way and saving the environment as much as we can, either by directly or indirectly. Besides that, we also need to figure out more efficient methods, which do not harm the Earth or the environment.
So are you eco-friendly?

Although everyone has the different thoughts about the "eco-friendly", but if we all did our best to recycle, reuse and reduce, then the Earth will becoming even better in the future, which it seems hard to be achieved at this moment...

well an eco-friendly person should not only use products only when required, re-cycle, re-use, but also, stop others around him who are damaging the environment, in some way or the other. One must raise their voices against such people. They can truly be called eco-friendly persons

Eco-friendly, I agree, is taking care of the environment and everything around us. Without a clean environment we wouldn't be able to live as we are today. Imagine living in an area where you are too afraid to go outside because of the pollution. Imagine living where dust and harmful chemicals rule your life. So to me, eco-friendly is taking care of the environment.

I think eco friendly means you are using the green products and organic foods, that didn't contaminate the environment, either when you use it or when they create it.

Eco-Friendly is being good to the environment. Recycle, using organic foods and even being respectful of natural parks. One of the last classes I took before I finished college was environmental science and Im telling everyone that I learned so much.

The nation as a whole wastes an unbelievable amount of energy.

Quick way to cut down on Electricity, turn of your monitors and shut down your computers when not in use. Honestly, it is surprising how much energy that wastes.

There are many other ways to do it. So, I would suggest everyone do some research online as to how to better the world.

Well I wouldn't say I'm the greenest person in the world, but I do try to avoid littering whenever possible and often recycle.

I also avoid purposely harming the environment by disposing of harmful products correctly unlike some other people who just dump them anywhere.

doing as much as possible to recycle all my plastic wrappers, container, bottle. and some people didn't realize that this thing ( plastic material) especially drinking water bottle has taken over our beach. i have done or join one community to clean our beach for two years and guess the highest amount that we collect is drinking water bottle.

I learned to be eco-friendly when I started learning about angling. The reason is very simple, polluted river means no fish, no fish means no angler. Slowly I learned about re-cycle. I began grouping my house waste. I put plastics waste in one bag but I don't sell it. I just let the disposal worker take it for their own earning. Now I think I am eco & friendly.

I'm pretty eco-friendly. For example I don't throw rubbish anywhere I want, even in desperate situations. I usually keep them in my pockets. Other than that not much. In my place it's difficult to recycle.

I try my best to be one. I never litter, recycle when I can, and probably the biggest thing is that I turn off things that aren't in use when I leave the house or go to bed. Oh, I also try to walk to school when I can, instead of taking a car or a bus.

Eco friendly for me means protecting our mother earth. Like for instance, I do not litter in the streets and shops. I keep the wrapper inside my pocket and wait till i get near any dust bin. Also, I had stopped burning crackers from the age of 10.
I always try to persuade my friends to stop littering, but i haven't been successful yet. It's tough telling others what to do, they simply ignore

At least you try. I on the other hand rarely do that because they won't pick up what they already threw anyway. And if you tell them that's wrong they will be weird out because for them it's normal.

I am pretty good when it comes to this. I will admit that I could be much better with this but for the most part I try to recycle and I always use public transport. I also try as hard as I can to use as little power and water as I can. I think the most important thing that we need to work on now a days is buying products with good a package, I feel landfills are getting full from bad packages that are not needed.

For me Eco-friendly means safe guarding the environment around me in what ever way i can.

I contribute mostly in smaller ways. From avoiding plastic materials and using paper, disposing batteries in a proper way, regularly checking the vehicle and keeping it under pollution levels and contributing along with my family to green peace. Also I usually cover short distances by walk.

I try to be, I ride a bike everyday for commute & do my best to conserve power & water. I also have an edible garden. I think no matter what American you are, you'll still have a large eco-footprint. It's just how our society is setup.

I can say that I am an eco-friendly person, and my family does too. We tend to think about the environment that we lived in. We make sure that garbage are segregated, we made a compost pit for those perishable, and we sell those recyclables. We make sure that the car doesn't emit that much smoke and add to the depletion of our ozone layer. These are just some of the things that we do be environmentally-friendly.

many of us knowingly or unknowingly do several things that corrupt our environment and lead to the pollution effects. an eco-friendly person is a person who himself tries to keep the environment clean and also guides others to practice the same.

I was not an Eco Friendly person and I'm afraid to say that I'm not till now.
A person would be eco-fiendly if he is not using any of the stuff that harms the environment, Like recyclable products, biodegradable products, clean fuel. I don't think so that any person here is able to complete all these requirements.

Eco friendly simply means our actions do not adversely affect our own environment. Just to explain a bit more, For e.g., if you start using bicycles instead of bikes and cars for traveling small distances, you will find that the amount of carbon dioxide decreasing in our environment, and leading to a better environment to some extent.

We need a clean environment to survive and live a healthy life. Otherwise, we will make our own life and our environment like a hell. So try your best to be eco friendly, and don't ignore your duty towards a clean environment

I would say I'm not an eco-friendly person. I throw bottles of water sometime when I'm done drinking it to the side of the road when no one is looking. And there is just no way I can bring myself to recycle. I just don't have the time nor the patience for it. And I can stand the smell of garbage.

eco friendly person according to me is one who doesn't add to the pollution much and make use of eco friendly things mostly
i might not consider myself as a eco-friendly person because i never walk down the street even to buy some homely stuff, i need my bike to make even those small trips. then waste a lot of electricity like switching the light on even during days time when i can just open windows to make use of natural light, keeping my pc on standby mode, not switching it off during night. not resisting to use plastic bags when offered

there are many more but in 1 way i am an eco friendly person i.e. by planting and taking care of plants at my home

Taking care of our environment by using things that do not disturb nature. Using a recyclable products that can easily be degraded is better than using non recyclable ones
