Re: Riding bicycles can help save the environment
You made a very good point here, Winny, and I am in complete agreement with you. Not that I don't drive a car or climb into one as a passenger on a occassional basis, but, when it comes to the environment in itself, yes, a bike (or something of the like) is definitely the best way to go. Of course, a bike may not always be the most convenient way of travel for all but, if there is the option of using one and it is available for one to take advantage of at any given time, I myself would prefer to use that option rather than sitting behind the wheel of a car and polluting the air with exhaust fumes any day of the week. What we do today can have long lasting effects on what we can expect for tomorrow (and far into the future as well) so, if there is anything we can do today to help make the future safer and brighter, by all means, why not "nip it in the bud" while we can? Besides, if everyone biked around all over the darned place on a regular basis.....just imagine what great legs we'd all have, lol.
