Pesticides and other chemicals pollute water bodies

Pesticides, fertilizers, oil, gasoline and all dirt when flow into water bodies like streams, lakes and others can cause our water to be polluted.
I mentioned fertilizers and pesticides. In order to help in avoiding water pollution, we must avoid using excessive fertilizers and pesticides.

What do you think are some preventive steps that can help reduce water pollution?
