Ozone depletion causes skin cancers and genetic diseases

Ozone depletion is a burning problem these days. If the layer of ozone is destroyed, there will be lots of problems like skin cancers and genetic diseases.

How to stop this?

- less use of CFC - chlorofluorocarbons. They are used in hair sprays, compressors of refrigerators etc.
- decrease level of CO2

Any other ways?

Yes this is my suggestion:

1)Use public transportation. Can reduce CFC.
2) Stop the open burning.

We can stop the emission of CFC's into the atmosphere by following the tips which you gave daydreamer and also by stopping burning plastics. Burning plastics releases CFC which in turn pose a threat to the depleting ozone layer. Plastic manufacturing should also be minimized in my point of view!

There are too many things WE as a country, state, community, WORLD can do to stop the depletion of the Ozone Layer.
First things first, Stop the use of CFC's.
Limit the use of deforestation.
Ride a bike or walk.
The more and more we disrespect the use of the ozone layer, the bigger the hole we're digging for ourselves.

Ozone depletion has occur due to increasing use of air conditions and refrigerators on the earth by the people. The gas produced from these appliances which is also called as chloro fluoro carbon reacts with ozone and thus it is destroyed.

global warming may not be dangerous but what about the ozone depletion. Once all the layers sheltering us from the dangerous sun's rays are depleted we are all going to die and this should be enough reason why we must keep the environment clean and also go green
