Yes there is no doubt that Nature is in danger and It is not only the forests of India but also the plants and animals in Africa. Because of overpopulation in Africa, the forests are been cleared all day-in-day-out in Africa and houses are been built in their place. The forests house the animal population and if the forests are disappearing then there is no doubt that there will be a time when there will be no antelopes, elephants, lions or even grass cutters left in Africa because the forests will be gone by then and these animals cannot live with man at home.

We can also donate, they have programs to save the wild animals and the environments. We can also be volunteers and visit them, but if you are looking for a free way, try to be the online activist. Some organizations need volunteers to handle their website and their online campaign.

simplest way of controlling pollution is self control and discipline. we can plant more and more trees, make more use of public transport instead of using 3 cars in a single family to commute. as a result of pollution we have seen a steep fall in the level of rainfalls and rise in winter temperature, some of the cold-eat places are becoming warmer day by day and we have to do some thing to save the environment.

Deforestation is on a high all around the world. In India due to the rapid industrialization it is showing adverse effects already. Especially in the capital - Delhi there is hardly any green space left. Scarcity of fresh air and ever increasing auto pollution has made the environment there smoky

In India, there is large amount of deforestation going on . After some days , there are chances of these forests being extinct . Wood is one of the main raw materials which human beings use in Industries . We should try to make the people to understand about advantages of plantation of trees . Then only we can balance the environment .

Many people and animals depend on the forests . If deforestation would go on with this speed survival of human beings would become difficult . People are continuously cutting down trees for domestic as well as for industrial uses . This affects the nature balancing . People should grow trees instead of cutting them down , otherwise some day there will be no forest left .

The entire world is in really big danger from all of the pollution that we humans put into our earth. We will soon not have enough oil to support the population, we have around 50 years left of it. we are also cutting down forests in alarming rates. Hopefully humans will soon smarten up and take care of mother nature

yes this is true, Forests in India are depleting at a faster rate and have been wiped out by nearly 50% in last decade.

Modernization and development is the biggest cause .

there is the need for land to build cities and this has come from cutting down the tress and the forests.
even forest lands are converted into agricultural land to feed this growing population.

selling of wood for the manufacture of plywood, furniture, etc. is also one of the reasons

Well, there are so many ways to contribute in preventing the depletion of forest in India.

Since, commercial logging is a major factor in forest depletion. A simple way for you to contribute is by "not printing articles or stuffs from your computer that is not really necessary for you to print." This would save a lot of paper and some how reduce demand for paper and in effect reduce the activities of commercial loggers.

That is why there is a saying "if the buying stops.... the cutting stops"

would you agree?

yeah our earth is facing continuous danger not from any of the external factor- in fact because of our own human activities. We are responsible for transforming the system of nature so we must be responsible for managing the vulnerable nature. Everybody has to think before they take any action.

Nature will do it herself. When man makes the area unlivable then nature will restore itself. This has been and always will be. Every nation that has ever been on this earth has destroyed itself by corruption. When the ice-age came and destroyed the age before it then came the age of warming we are now in and the earth is now very productive. The next age will come and poor man thinks he can alter it. What a no-brainer. Wring your hands and hug your trees oh man but like the song, 'what ever will be will be" and quit trying to be God.

Anyone got an aspirin? I think I'm getting a head-ach!
