Make use of those paper and save the environment

If you no longer need those paper that you already used, like in your thesis or in your report, don't throw them yet. You can still use them as your scratch or anything. And after you use them, you can compile them in a box and sell it on a junk shop. In that way, you can lessen those waste.

I remember when I finished my PhD I was left with a lot of journal articles - literally thousands of pages worth. I diligently sat and removed the staples from each of them before putting them in the recycling bin - it wasn't as if anyone else in my hometown would be interested in using them after me they were that obscure.
