Re: Is it more eco-friendly to have just enough clothes?
My wife and I have done a lot of closet purging this year in order to make way for baby. It's weird to see all the things we've worn for a single season, packed away and forgot
about. Now that we've downsized our clothing inventory, hopefully that will be less of a problem.
I've definitely amassed a much too large collection of t-shirts over the years. So, I've taken the older holey ones and am now using them as cleaning cloths in lieu of disposable kitchen roll.
I also have a whole s-load of tube socks. Enough to last me for a month without having to launder them. This makes for larger laundry loads which in a way is better for the environment, although my wife would probably argue that having a pile of my dirty socks laying around all month is an eco-hazard.
