solid waste includes garbage, industry wastes ,kitchen wastes, etc..
these wastes should be managed according to risk of hazard that waste can cause. firstly, one should identify source of wastes.
then comes its handling ,storage and processing at the source.
after that these wastes to be collected in properly manner to be disposed.and at the time of collection wastes should be differentiated into recyclable and non-recyclable.
after that separation and processing of wastes to render them non-harmful.
then transportation of waste to disposal site
lastly disposal of waste by land filling or other technique which is best.

There are different ways to dispose off waste. There is a grading system based on which type of waste it is. Non-harmful wastes are buried deep in earth. Harmful wastes are incinerated - completely burnt.
