Global warming is a serious issue now.... I believe its effect can already be felt by everyone all over the world. Weird and unusual weather, glaciers melting (poor polar bears) and the weather is really getting warmer and warmer to a point where the heat is a bit unbearable. But I'm glad that at least there are some actions now to 'Go Green' and save the environment. In my country currently, the government has been actively promoting recycling and also energy conservation (saving electricity). Hopefully small steps taken by everyone will make a great difference to the environment.

First of all global warming has become a serious issue because we are affected by it else we would continue polluting the environment. Still there are so many who pollute the atmosphere and only few steps have been taken to reduce it like planting trees. Due to global warming many countries' seasons have changed.

It is a true danger for the existence of all living animals and plants on the planet. But the politicians and right wing religious leaders are refusing to accept the fact and take necessary precautions. For the right wingers, every thing which happens on the planet is the will of god and cannot be meddled with.

I'm still not so sure that the global worming is caused by humanity actions for real.
Maybe this is the natural world? We do not know everything now. It is just assumptions.
But no matter what, global warming or no global warming, we should begin to reduce the need of the resources of the world. We have to care about the future of our children before everything!

This is really a serious issue. Each one of us should be aware that this had gone to dangerous levels, especially that it already started melting ice in the north and south pole. We wouldn't want to live in boats right, just like in Water world, we'll have to do our share to save the environment we're living in, if not for us, but for the younger generations. They will be the one who will bear the brunt of our current lifestyle and they will be our kids, our grandchildren and great great grandchildren. We don't want that to happen to them right.

I can feel it global warming is real happening now, the climate changing so much.. many times the temperatures going so high and in sudden its going very low. changing rapidly.. :o
Everyone should be aware that if there is no action to alleviate this problem of global warming..(this climatic changes ).. then we shall have to suffer due to the expected consequences of its effects in the near future.

Well guys...Its true..The Global Warming is coming up badly...More than worse ..The temperatures are rising uncertainly that were never before...Summers are getting hotter...Winters getting chilly wild...and the rains are bringing cyclonic floods almost every year to a country...And more to the horror...Economic system is badly getting affected...Animals are dying...And high form diseases are spreading due to warming.

I think this problem is extremely severe and disappointing. Global warming was first introduced in the 80s maybe earlier! It is still happening and worsening as we speak. I think this proves how corrupt our political system really is. The fact is the governments are doing very little as to helping the environment. This is because of the influence from certain industries such as oil, energy and so forth. Extremely sad.

global warming is a process in which the carbon dioxide emitted form pollutants gets piled up in our atmosphere and doesn't allow the heat radiation to escape the earths atmosphere leaving it hotter and hotter day by day. carbon dioxide can be consumed by plants but unfortunately there are not sufficient plants left on this planet. as a consequence of global warming, polar ice is melting, and the weather cycle getting disturbed day by day. it is expected that if this process of global warming is not reversed by way of using eco-friendly fuels and planting more trees, the polar ice will melt and all the coastal regions will be water borne.....we must do something about it..

Global warming is harming the world. and people don't seem to take action
towards it. even if we start taking action today. it would take years for it

I agree. This issue has never been so serious as it is now. Our Mother Earth is in a critical position and it's high time we realize what we've got to do. Personally speaking, I can find that no one is doing anything except to make things worse. The ever increasing population, the increase in the vehicles on the roads, is global warming and pollution ever going to stop ?

Movies such as 2012(still to release ) give a very realistic picture of what the world would look like when the Ice melts due to global warming and the coastal areas are submerged for ever

we all know that global warming is a global issue right now and has to be addressed as aggressively as possible. we humans are responsible for this and it is the high time to take charge of the situation before it is too late to act. we must cut upon the fuel consumption, chemical wastes are needed to be disposed properly, plant more trees, use echo friendly vehicles etc.

Global warming is a big issue with a lot of harms. If we continue like this, we will find all ice being melted and waters and seas covering the land. Slowly and gradually, we will find amount of carbon di oxide increasing and amount of oxygen decreasing.

With the increase in population, we must make sure to prevent global warming as much as we can, and also prevent depletion of ozone layer by reducing use of CFC's and we have to realize its high time for us, time for some action against global warming.

global warming is one of the biggest problem of this modern world and might be even for our future generation if not dealt with seriously.
there are many measures through which we can minimize global warming
1. by making use of public transport
2. by saving electricity like using cfl bulbs , etc
3. making use of eco-friendly carry bags like make of paper
4. banning plastic bags
5. burning less fuel, like using public transport, turning off stove when not needed,
6. switching to alternative source of energy.
and many more

if we abide by just a few of these, it might make a huge difference

I think global warming is a made up phenomenoma. I think it is a farse and it does not exist. Al Gore is also the biggest hypocrit ever. He is Mr. Environment yet he drives in limos and flies in private plains.

I want us all to recognize the fact that if we lose this planet earth, we will not have any other place to go. what other duty do we owe our dear earth than take proper care of the only place of habitation that nature has given us. All hands must be on deck, the damage has been done but the question should be on how to alleviate the consequences. I personally believe in Global warming, but we are not in as much trouble as the media is saying we are. Our greenhouse gas emissions are killing the icebergs in the Arctic.
Yes, there might be another 'Ice Age', and it might go back again. What if their isn't another Ice Age? So far, no predictions have been made for Ice Ages.
Bottom line is, it's real, and it's killing wildlife all over the world, not only in the Arctic. Temperature in the Ocean's is changing, causing fish to die, and air is becoming very unclean on land, causing land animals to die.

Its undoubtedly real all right ! The change in temperature patterns and weather across the world is proof enough that the global environment is changing...species are getting wiped out due to global warming and most of all the arctic ice caps are melting..

I was wondering though, is there really enough time to protect the environment from these changes ? I mean dependence on fuels and industrial emission of greenhouse gases are not going to stop any time soon..so whats the solution ?

Global warming is one of the main problems faced by the current world.Global warming is having many adverse effects on earth.The main problems caused by the effects of global warming are melting of polar ice and thereby rising of sea level,warm ocean water with more probability of hurricanes , increase in intensity of drought and heat waves etc.In short this phenomenon of climatic change is having very adverse effect on the life of humans and if not controlled may lead to a very dangerous and uncontrollable situation.
