Default Don't make Bush fire, Don't cut trees, Don't kill wild animals

Hi,

we all know that our planet is in serious danger..
To save it we should do something, don't say that 1 person will change the world (thought a million is made of ones)..
Start saving the planet today from your home, here's a list of thing you can do to save earth..
1- Once you finished using an electronic device just unplug it form the electricity source.
2- Turn off lights when nobody is in the room/house.
3- Try using public transportation instead of your privet car when not necessary.
4- Use bicycle instead of privet car while going to a near place.
5- buy a car that runs using Solar or even Hydrogen.
6- Collect the Plastic stuff that you usually throw away after using in a bag, and then when you have good amount just give it to a plastic recycle factory in your area.
7- use recycled papers, and Reuse them.
8- try to reduce the average of used tissue paper a day.
9- Don't make fire, cut trees, or kill wild animals.
10- Use energy saving bulbs instead of the normal bulbs.

Finally share those information and you will make a difference

Nice points, thank you. No offense but are you sure there is electricity consumption even when an electronic device is switched off? I am just wondering.

Buying a car that runs using Solar or even Hydrogen doesn't sound viable to me but the least we can do would be to buy a hybrid one. It will save some cost on fuels too.

I think the first step to save our planet is to stop the wars and start being more friendly to each other. Imagine how World War II would be with many countries today having nuclear weapons and advanced military technology.

Plants, more plants and more more plants will be the good solution and Yes avoid plastics please.

Plant will help our planet to become cool and ultimately the climate change will stop.

I don’t know how many of you know but we are actually seeing climate shift changes. That’s really bad.

Thumbs up Few steps to save the planet

First thing we should depend on fuels... Because of these fuels now our world is polluting, due to carbon-monoxide. Its a major threat. so one should stop using the fuels
Second thing we should plant trees... to reclaim our valuable planet and the ecosystem.

11. If you can afford it, aim to buy a solar panel for your house. Home power pollution actually uses more nergy than your car & this is a great method depending on where you live.
12. Set up an edible garden. It doesn't have to be big, aim for a good few pounds produced from it. Research what grows well in your area.

=.
Many appliances seem to continue to use small amounts of electricity even when switched off. It isn't a lot, but over hours and days and weeks, ect. it really adds up. Not only is it an environmental issue, but a financial one as well. I found a decrease in my electric bill when I started unplugging certain things, like the microwave, coffee maker, stereo, ect.

The most important thing in order to save our planet is to stop polluting the air and water.

Every life...whether big or small....depends on these two things for primary survival. Polluting the very basic needs brings about an immediate full stop to the circle of life.

We, human beings use far larger quantity of air and water than what we are supposed to...in comparison with other living things....and it is really surprising that we pollute them the most !!!

my suggestion is kinda same.. but just in a different way
that is.. we should change our habits somehow..
instead of sitting in front of the TV..or all the time surfing the net etc etc..we should indulge in activities like gardening..or sports..
nowadays people have stopped playing sports..rather they prefer watching it..
what i say is watching sports is a passion with some people alright..
but would not it be more fun to be actually involved in it??
or do something constructive..try to make some communities on a local level where you try to tell people about the importance of such issues..but in a little way..
make it more interesting..
like organizing meetings..just get together..picnics outings whatever..and sometimes focusing on environment too..

Regards
shail

Thank you, good and useful tips.
Just a shame that not all apply to these simple things.
Just when the resources will come to their end and we won't continue to live like days before anymore, all humans will wake up and understand that it was already too late.

Its sorry to say that we all have made our planet really a hell and we all are equally responsible for that. Now a days, everyone is just concerned in earning money ,whatever effects the nature no one is concerned to care about it. daily how much smoke is let out from the chimneys of factories, how much polluted water is let into the rivers. we all know it but you know what? who cares??? that's the bloody wrong attitude of people which may completely harness this planet one day.

Lightbulb Re: Few steps to save the planet

these are all great points. However, when it comes to issues such as this, people tend to forget about other parts of the world such as Africa. Unlike America and other developed countries, bush burning for example is very common in Africa especially during the farming season where farmers clear and burn every living creature on their land to give way for planting. Sometimes, these fires become uncontrollable and several acres of land are brought to ashes living the land bare and giving way to soil erosion, leaching and co. Burning the forests these way release great amount of carbon monoxide into the atmosphere and decreases the Oxygen level in the atmosphere giving way to global problems such as the global warming. Most people especially the farmers within these regions of the world are poor and illiterates and as I said earlier on, most of these people do not even know the consequences of their actions. Education is the major key here and I think if people become educated on such issues as global warming and good farming practices, this will go a long way to saving our planet. Remember, not only Africans will suffer the consequences of their actions but rather the whole wide world and hence the whole wide world must take part in this global education if we are to save this planet of ours.

This is a nice compilation done here. To save electricity, minimize the use of polluting fuel, Use hydroelectric power and less polluting fuels such as biogas, Promoting the use of renewable sources of energy, Using electric and Fuel cell cars could be some ofther steps.
