Default Are governments able to cope with the increasing urbanization?

Delegates will gather in Vancouver later this month for the UN's World Urban
Forum to discuss how cities can cope with greatly increased populations.

The majority of the world's population is expected to be living in urban areas
within the next two years. The greatest burden will fall on developing
countries.

Already some cities are struggling to cope with the huge influx of people with
some populations 40 times larger than what they were in 1950.

Are cities growing too rapidly? Are governments able to cope with the
demands of increasing urbanization?

Default Re: Are Cities Growing Too Fast?

Yes it is absolutely correct, this is because of increasing population day by day. Villages has become cities and cities has become districts. The Government should take some important steps quickly against this huge demand of houses and industries.
