I love animals and I feel bad anytime I see animals like lions in cages. America and other developed countries have so many laws protecting animals such as dogs and cats from abuses. These laws are great because they protect animals from some abnormal animal owners. I watched a video about an organization called "Born to be Free" on youtube and according to that video, all animals were born free and must be allowed to live their natural lives in the wild.
I don't see anything wrong in keeping a dog as a pet because not so many dogs can survive in the wild. I see nothing wrong in keeping a white lion as a pet or keeping it in an enclosed area because not so many white lions can survive in the wild. White lions for example have no camouflage and they cannot survive in Africa where camouflage is very critical to survival in the wild.
Lions for example are very proud animals and they hate being fed. Lions like feeding themselves and they hate being controlled. Injured lions mostly die not from their injuries but from the pain of not being able to do what they do best. I understand the need to keep animals such white lions in enclosed areas but what about the brown lions who can survive in the wild? why do we still keep them in cages? If we have animal right laws then why do we still cage those wild animals in zoos? America has several animal right laws yet America cages several wild animals in zoos and charges people a dollar and half to see them.
What do you think? Does it make much sense to have several animal right laws and still cage wild animals in zoos?
