Is the chat for selected people because I tried posting something but it doesn't seem to work. Do I have to register to use the chat? It is a very simple chat but at least people can use it.

You need to register before you can use the chat. Registration takes just 30 seconds. You don't have to confirm email or anything. Just register a username and click on "chat" and you will be automatically logged in to the chat area.

I think it will be a good idea to allow guests to chat because it is a nice chat area and that will draw more people. Not everybody wants to register before they can chat. you can allow guest access to the chat area with limited functions.
